However, the Church has always permitted an abused spouse to separate and divorce via civil law. The abusive spouse remains your spouse so the victim spouse may live independently but must remain chaste and is not free to date or remarry unless/until the spouse dies.

God Bless,

—-Introibo Introibo Ad Altare Deihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11377479441601352059noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6466183320330735196.post-41099723281393914762018-11-30T00:22:22.765-08:002018-11-30T00:22:22.765-08:00Introibo,

If after a couple gets married and the husband turns violent on the wife and/or kids, isn’t the husband breaking his vow by abusing the wife? I don’t understand how God would expect a wife to stay in a marriage that is sadistic and abusive. I wouldn’t say the husband is loving his wife as Christ loved the Church. When I was a kid in the 50’s I knew a woman who had Multiple Scerlosis and her husband would come home after a night of drinking and womanizing and he would beat her until she was black and blue all over. Because of the Church’s stance on divorce, the woman turned Protestant and divorced her so called Husband. I don’t believe God is sadistic. God is love. Men who abuse their wives are not loving and I don’t see how God gets any glory seeing a woman and/or children subjected to domestic violence and abuse. I do not believe the “for better or worse” meant violent and abusive behavior.
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6466183320330735196.post-19416955984809035392014-10-13T21:27:46.503-07:002014-10-13T21:27:46.503-07:00Your 100% correct,we will live to see utter lucife...Your 100% correct,we will live to see utter luciferian activity being practiced openly by the vatican 2 sect.I am convinced we Sedevacantist's are about to welcome new recruits/converts to our side of the truth.Domine Jesu Miserere Nobis Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
