Will The Real Fatima Please Stand Up ?

 Years ago, there was a game show entitled To Tell The Truth. Three people would come out from behind the stage curtain, and the host would ask each in succession, "What is your name, please?" Each person would respond, "My name is John McCoy." The host would proceed to read a short biography of John McCoy, describing some fascinating aspect or accomplishment of his life. Each of the three contestants claimed to be John McCoy, but only one was the "real McCoy" (so to speak!). A panel of comedians or TV personalities would then ask each contestant some questions. After about 10 minutes of questioning they would attempt to guess who was the real McCoy. It would end when the host would ask, "Would the real John McCoy please stand up?"--and he would, ending the mystery.

 There are few subjects more hotly debated than the Church-approved apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima. The True Church (prior to Vatican II) declared the apparitions of the Mother of God to three small children in Fatima, Portugal, "worthy of belief." That being said, no Catholic is obliged to accept any private revelation as true. "Private revelation" is distinguished from "public revelation" (the Deposit of Faith) given by Christ to His One True Church and ended with the death of the last Apostle, St. John in 100 A.D. We are bound to accept the teachings of the Church regarding the Deposit of Faith.

 I have often stated that I will not allow (or perpetuate) rancor among Traditionalists regarding "the authentic message" of Fatima. I will attempt in this post to explain just why the apparition is so confusing and the subject of great controversy. I would like to first clarify my position: I believe that the apparition is real. If the Church declares it worthy of belief, that's good enough for me. It would be a sin to reject an approved revelation if the motive for the rejection is contempt for Church authority. I believe that there are several things we can safely take away from Fatima to make us better Traditionalists, such as the First Saturday devotions, wearing the Scapular, praying the Rosary with fervor, and the Fatima prayer to be recited at the end of each Rosary decade.In addition, we should make reparation for poor sinners and propagate devotion to the Most Immaculate Heart of Mary, while imploring the grace of Final Perseverance. I denounce the use of Fatima, or any other private revelation, as "proof" for any theological position not already approved by the Magisterium of the Church. We need to spend more time acquainting ourselves with authentic Church teaching, as expounded by the Church's own theologians prior to the Great Apostasy at Vatican II.

Background of the Apparition

The Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God, appeared six times to three shepherd children near the town of Fatima, Portugal between May 13 and October 13, 1917. Appearing to the children, the Blessed Virgin told them that She had been sent by God with a message for every man, woman and child living in our century. Coming at a time when civilization was torn asunder by war and bloody violence, She promised that Heaven would grant peace to all the world if Her requests for prayer, reparation and consecration were heard and obeyed.

Our Lady of Fatima explained to the children that war is a punishment for sin and warned that God would further castigate the world for its disobedience to His Will by means of war, hunger and the persecution of the Church, the Holy Father and the Catholic Faithful. God's Mother prophesied that Russia would be God's chosen "instrument of chastisement," spreading the "errors" of atheism and materialism across the earth, fomenting wars, annihilating nations and persecuting the Faithful everywhere.

"If My requests are not granted, Russia will spread its errors throughout the world, raising up wars and persecutions against the Church. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will suffer much and various nations will be annihilated." In all Her appearances at Fatima, the Blessed Mother repeatedly emphasized the necessity of praying the Rosary daily, of wearing the Brown Scapular of Mount Carmel and of performing acts of reparation and sacrifice. To prevent the terrible chastisement at the hands of Russia and to convert "that poor nation", Our Lady requested the solemn public Consecration of Russia to Her Immaculate Heart by the Pope and all the Catholic bishops of the world. She also asked that the Faithful practice a new devotion of reparation on the first Saturday of five consecutive months ("The Five First Saturdays").

The most important part of Our Lady's Message to the world is contained in what has come to be called the "Secret" which She confided to the three child seers in July 1917. The Secret actually consists of three parts, the first two of which have been publicly revealed. The first part of the Secret was a horrifying Vision of Hell "where the souls of poor sinners go" and contained an urgent plea from Our Lady for acts of prayer and sacrifice to save souls. The second part of the Secret specifically prophesied the outbreak of World War II and contained the Mother of God's solemn request for the Consecration of Russia as a condition for world peace. It also predicted the inevitable triumph of Her Immaculate Heart following Russia's consecration and the conversion "of that poor nation" to the Catholic Faith.

The last part of the Secret (often called the "Third Secret") was allegedly made public in 2000 by the Modernist Vatican. It was written down by Lucy Dos Santos, the last living Fatima seer who became a nun, in 1944 and has been in the possession of the Holy See since at least 1957. The other two seers said Our Lady told them they would die as children and go to Heaven. Both, indeed, died soon after the apparition (Jacinta and Francisco Marto). Sister Lucia (as Lucy Dos Santos was known) died at the age of 97 on February 13, 2005. Most informed sources who do not agree with Ratzinger's "Third Secret" of 2000, speculate that this portion of the Secret concerns chaos in the Catholic Church, predicting widespread apostasy and a loss of faith beginning in the seventh decade of the 20th Century. It should have been released, according to the BVM, in 1960. Roncalli (John XXIII) refused, saying, "it does not concern my pontificate." (Compiled from several sources, including fatima.org)

Fatima According to "Fr." Nicholas Gruner

Mr. Gruner (1942-2015) was an invalidly ordained Vatican II "priest" (1976) from the Diocese of Avellino, Italy. He has been derided at the "CEO of the Fatima Industry." Beginning in 1978, Gruner started publishing a magazine The Fatima Crusader, calling on John Paul II to make the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in union with all the bishops of the world. (This assumes JPII was really pope and there were real bishops with jurisdiction under him). 

 After the 1982 consecration of the world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary by JPII, Gruner claimed Russia need to be specifically mentioned, and all the bishops need to do it in union with the "pope." He often claimed to be "the only person spreading the true message of Fatima" against those who saw no need of a specific consecration of Russia. He would plead for money in each issue, to help him "spread the cause." There were always warnings of impending nuclear war if he was not successful. Once he actually wrote that you should let "Our Lady guide your hand to write the most generous check possible (!)" 

 Sedevacantism was not something he would even consider since the "pope" can't do anything if we don't have one, therefore all his pleas for donations, as well as his very raison d'etre would disappear. He soon became a proponent of the "recognize and resist" movement "offering" the Traditional Mass and calling Vatican II a "mistake." This "consecration of Russia" was his panacea for all the ills in the world and the Church. After the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991, Gruner claimed that this was all a deception and the consecration had still not taken place. just about everyone, including his alleged "pope" were in on the conspiracy to hide the true message of Fatima. When Sr. Lucia was reported by the Modernist Vatican to have stated the consecration was completed in 1982, Gruner claimed the statement was a forgery. Pleas for money increased, as did predictions of nuclear war from a Communist Russia that really hadn't changed and was waiting to strike the West.  He was suspended by the Vatican II sect for failing to return to his diocese, and he unsuccessfully appealed. He was later incardinated into Archdiocese of Hyderabad, but remained suspended. He claimed that he was never validly suspended. 

 Towards the end of his life, he associated himself with Fr. Michael Jarecki, a notorious Fenneyite priest associated with the Vatican II sect St. Benedict Center, who died at age 95 in 2012. In 2014, he appeared in NYC to promote the totally discredited "apparitions" at Bayside, Queens. Gruner died of a heart attack on April 29, 2015.

The Imposter Sr. Lucia Conspiracy Theory

Next, we have the "Two Lucys" theory. This reminds me of the "crooked ears" conspiracy theory of the false Bayside apparitions. According to the "seer" of Bayside, Paul VI was a true pope who was drugged and held prisoner in the Vatican. Then he was replaced by an imposter who underwent plastic surgery to look like Montini. However, the enemies of the Church made one mistake; if you look at pictures of Montini just before and after his election, the ears (after his election as "pope") are crooked and don't line up right with his nose as in the earlier pictures due to an imperfection in the plastic surgery! (I won't even comment on THAT one!)

 The Sr. Lucia theory is similar. Prior to 1960, Sr. Lucia was "replaced" by an impostor so she could not tell "the True Message of Fatima" to the world. Exactly who are the nefarious people that performed this "switch" is never really clear, although one would gather it was done by some enemy of the Church inside the  Vatican.  (All the makings of a great Malachi Martin novel). A "recognize and resist" website, traditioninaction.org, shows pictures of Sr. Lucia ("Sr. Lucy I" --or the real nun, and "Sr. Lucy II"--or the impostor). Here is the "evidence:"

 Sister Lucy I stands in a collected way, her hands in a discrete gesture. Her posture and demeanor are quite composed, as befitting a religious woman. 

The pose of Sister Lucy II as a young nun is in many senses different. She rests her face on her hand as if she were in a classroom listening to a lecture. Her somewhat artificial air catches one’s attention. Her wrists are deliberately showing, as well as a small bit of her hair at the top and side of the habit, more in keeping with the manner of a progressivist nun, clashing with the extreme discretion of Sister Lucy I. 

Sister Lucy II’s glasses are very modern in style for a nun of the 1950s. One can certainly say that it reflects a person sensitive to the appeals of fashion. Again, an attitude foreign to Sister Lucy I. 

These are the comparisons I would like to offer to my reader. My conclusion is simple: the face, the features, the gestures, and the spirit of the two Sister Lucys are dissimilar. It would seem, then, that we are looking at two different persons. 

The rest of the "evidence" is no more convincing.  What is the real ("true") message of Fatima according to this group? " ...it is a description that certainly matches the reality we are witnessing today: the radical changes that were installed in the Church by Vatican Council II and were universally spread in the last 45 years." Yet, they believe these men are still "popes" and "bishops" with authority!

Portugal Will Always Preserve the Dogma of The Faith

OK, this alleged prophesy by the Blessed Mother, is really up for grabs. Portugal legalized abortion in 2007 and sodomite "marriage" in 2010. The Vatican II sect flourishes there. In what sense have they "preserve[d] the dogma of the Faith"? Some of my readers commented that this might refer to a Portuguese man becoming a true pope to end the sedevacante period of apostasy in which we all live. It's possible. What about the alleged prophesy at Fatima that "entire nations will be annihilated"? Gruner talked about (always imminent)  nuclear war. Others said it was constructive disappearance through the European Union.

 Also confusing is the message that "In the end my Immaculate Heart will triumph... and a period of peace will be given to the world." How, exactly, does this fit in with what we know about the Great Apostasy, the Antichrist, etc.? There will be peace and then the end- times will come at a future date?  You cannot start to change what we know from Church teaching because of some private revelation. These statements are too subject to varying interpretations and qualifications.

Ratzinger's Lies

On June 26, 2000, then "Cardinal" Ratzinger, later to become "Pope" Benedict XVI, released the alleged Third Secret of Fatima. It said in pertinent part:

 After the two parts which I have already explained, at the left of Our Lady and a little above, we saw an Angel with a flaming sword in his left hand; flashing, it gave out flames that looked as though they would set the world on fire; but they died out in contact with the splendour that Our Lady radiated towards him from her right hand: pointing to the earth with his right hand, the Angel cried out in a loud voice: ‘Penance, Penance, Penance!’. And we saw in an immense light that is God: ‘something similar to how people appear in a mirror when they pass in front of it’ a Bishop dressed in White ‘we had the impression that it was the Holy Father’. Other Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious going up a steep mountain, at the top of which there was a big Cross of rough-hewn trunks as of a cork-tree with the bark; before reaching there the Holy Father passed through a big city half in ruins and half trembling with halting step, afflicted with pain and sorrow, he prayed for the souls of the corpses he met on his way; having reached the top of the mountain, on his knees at the foot of the big Cross he was killed by a group of soldiers who fired bullets and arrows at him, and in the same way there died one after another the other Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious, and various lay people of different ranks and positions. Beneath the two arms of the Cross there were two Angels, each with a crystal aspersorium in his hand, in which they gathered up the blood of the Martyrs and with it sprinkled the souls that were making their way to God

There is plenty wrong.  Witnesses attest to the fact that the Fatima apparitions were exterior, physically sensible apparitions. The Miracle of the Sun was witnessed by over 100,000 people and reported in major newspapers. The commentary insists that the Fatima apparitions were merely interior visions to the three children. There is no discussion as to why, in the critical year of 1960, the secret was not to be released.

 My spiritual father, the late, great Father Gommar A. DePauw, a peritus (theological "expert") at Vatican II, was "leaked" an alleged copy of the Third Secret. It was only supposed to have been seen by Cardinal Ottaviani and John XXIII. Other high ranking officials claimed to have seen it, but no one knows for sure. Father was not sure if it was authentic, but he believed that it was for reasons he did not share with me. He claimed it told about the complete collapse of the established Church, which would be reduced to a handful of Faithful Catholics refusing novelty and dedicated to Tradition. It seemed to happen before his eyes from 1962-1965 as he was there at the Council and formed the Catholic Traditionalist Movement in 1964! He also rejected Ratzinger's alleged "secret"--saying "Thanks, but no thanks!" He wasn't falling for it.

 So what is the "true message" of Fatima? As I have demonstrated, there are many conflicting views on many aspects. That's why we must concentrate on Catholic teaching, expose the Modernist Counterfeit "Catholicism" of the Vatican II sect, and refuse to argue over private revelations. In due time, Our Lord will make known what Fatima was all about, and the truth will be told.

Denigrating The Mother Of God

 The Most Blessed Virgin Mary has suffered horribly at the hands of the Modernists. The Vatican II sect has done everything possible to make her irrelevant in people's lives. The Rosary, once proudly displayed and used at the Most Holy Sacrifice of the Mass by the faithful, can't be used at the Novus Bogus bread and wine service with everyone skipping and dancing around a table. The few remaining members of the Vatican II sect who actually know how to pray the Rosary were given an "updated" version by John Paul the Great Apostate with his "Luminous Mysteries."

 Here is just a partial listing of what has been downplayed or virtually eliminated:

• Scapulars

• The First Saturday Devotion

• The Litany of the BVM publicly prayed

• The Rosary (as explained above)

• Sermons ("homilies") on the Glories of Mary

• Dogmas on Mary no longer properly taught or understood (e.g. many think the Immaculate Conception refers to the Virgin Birth)

• Approved apparitions (e.g. Fatima, Lourdes, etc.) derided as "superstition" and rarely mentioned

 All of the above took place in earnest under JP II who touted his alleged "devotion" to Mary! However, the real beginning of it all has its roots (where else?) at the Second Vatican Council. The Blessed Virgin was seen by the Modernists as a "stumbling block" on their quest for an ecumenical one-world religion. (Notice that even in the just released video of Frankie extolling the false religions of Buddhism, Islam, and Judaism, along with his own sect--what was used as the symbol of each religion? The Buddhist has the idol of the Buddha, the Moslem had his prayer beads, and the Jew, a menorah. And what did the so-called "Catholic priest" have to show? The Rosary? NO! A statute of the BVM? NO! A Crucifix? Of course not! It looked like a fifty-cent plastic Infant Jesus doll, probably bought at a post-Christmas sale. "Pathetic" doesn't even begin to cover it.)

 However, what most people don't realize was what the Modernists stopped from happening. The unanimous consent of the pre-Vatican II theologians taught that Mary was "Mediatrix of All Graces." Theologian Pohle explains: "In calling the Blessed Virgin Mediatrix, we do not mean to deny that Jesus Christ is our sole Mediator. The mediation of Mary rests entirely upon that of Her Divine Son and would be utterly ineffective without it...Hence to acknowledge Mary as our Mediatrix does not detract from the Mediatorship of Jesus, as most Protestants allege, but confirms that dogma and leads to a higher estimation of it." (See Dogmatic Theology, B. Herder Books, St. Louis, 1916, 6:121)

Pohle further teaches: "Jesus is our sole Mediator per se. The mediation of the Blessed Virgin Mary is entirely secondary and subordinate to that of her Divine Son. Since, however, Mary is the Mother of God, her mediatorship transcends that of all the angels and saints and consequently constitutes an altogether unique privilege. In consonance with these principles Fathers and theologians properly style Our Lady liberatrix, salvatrix, reparatrix, restauratrix, reconciliatrix, and co-operatrix, or socia Redemptoris." (Ibid 6:122)

During the Council, 382 bishops petitioned that Mary's role as Mediatrix of All Graces should be defined. This was the largest number of bishops petitioning for any one item (the second largest number of bishops was 300 asking for a specific condemnation of Communism). The Modernists worked overtime to stop Mary from getting recognition She deserved. (Fr. DePauw, a peritus--or expert--at Vatican II who fought the Modernists, told me that Cardinal Ottaviani of the Holy Office had informed him Pope Pius XII had actually begun the process of forming a commission to draw up a definition of Mary as Mediatrix of All Graces with the great Fr. Reginald Garrigou-Lagrange to possibly be appointed as its head. Fr. Garrigou-Lagrange had drafted Munificentissimus Deus, the Apostolic Constitution promulgated by Pope Pius XII on November 1, 1950, declaring the dogma of Mary's Assumption into Heaven. The whole thing was immediately scuttled by Roncalli after his "election.").

Three Modernist Cardinals led the attack on Mary: Ledger (Canada), Alfrink (Holland), and Bea (Prefect of the "Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity"--a Commission started by Roncalli in 1960 to spread the heresy of ecumenism). They were able to successfully block any Marian definition, and succeeded in stopping a separate Council document devoted to the Mother of God. It was the closest vote of the entire Council---1,074 bishops in favor of a separate document for the BVM and 1,114 bishops against. Alfrink attacked any definition of Mary as "devisive," and Bea, former confessor to Pope Pius XII and closet Modernist until Roncalli took over, said the Marian dogma would be "unecumenical."

 The apostate priest and peritus from Canada, Gregory Baum, had this to say in 1963, as published in the November 1963 edition of The Sign: "There is no doubt that Mariology, or the Catholic teaching on Mary, is a tremendous obstacle to the ecumenical movement, because it developed since the Reformation. The two Marian dogmas on the Immaculate Conception and the Assumption are obstacles, because they are new and concern a subject not directly connected with our salvation and also because they are the only doctrines defined by the pope alone." So Mariology originated in the 1500s? The Immaculate Conception and the Assumption are "new"? (Is that why there was a Mass in honor of Our Lady's Assumption from at least the eighth century?) These were the only doctrines defined by the pope alone? (Ever hear of canonizations or Unam Sanctum?) This was the drivel the Modernists were unleashing upon the Catholics of the world. It should be noted Baum drafted the damnable document Nostra Aetate and left the priesthood to "marry" an apostate nun. Ah, the sanctity that swells forth from the "New Springtime" of Vatican II!

 In the end Mary was mentioned only in the last chapter of the heretical document on the Church, Lumen Gentium. She was referred to as "Mediatrix" but not "of All Graces" and no definitions were even attempted after the initial success of the Modernists.

 Lest anyone think this was only the work of "liberals" in the "Church" (SSPXers are you listening?), "conservative" Avery Dulles (made a "cardinal" by John Paul II--that "pope" who loves Mary so much)  in a March 5, 1997 interview for The Long Island Catholic (sic) declared that Marian dogmas should be made optional (!) for belief, because they are "a barrier to ecumenical unity" and "something less than central to the faith."

 When I was growing up in NYC, it was a truism that the quickest way to start a fight or end a friendship was to make a degrading remark about someone's mother. As a childhood friend once explained it, "You can't say something bad about a person's mother and expect him to just forget it and do you any favors." Seems like the "recognize and resisters" of the SSPX and their ilk (Bp. Williamson, John Salza, etc.) haven't learned what a group of teenagers intuitively understood. The Vatican II sect spits in the face of God's Own Mother by denying Her prerogatives and belittling Her at every turn, both officially and unofficially, directly and indirectly. This is why the sect crumbles even as it seeks to absorb all into its ecumenical one-world religion.

 The heretics had to do what they did. They want to take people away from the Blessed Mother, who is the Gate of Heaven, and who will one day stop them as the Destroyer of Heresy.

Double Agent?

 What do a Buddhist, a Mohammedan, a Jew, and a Vatican II "priest" all have in common? No, this isn't the beginning of an off-color joke. The answer is to be found in the latest video put out by Mr. Bergoglio (aka "Pope" Francis); they are all "Children of God," and they all "believe in love." Moreover, this is the "only one certainty we have for all." Apostasy of this magnitude (unthinkable even ten years ago) needs no comment from me. Anyone with even the slightest bit of knowledge regarding the True Faith will instantly see that this video is produced from Hell. A very good analysis is provided on "Novusordowatch.org."

    The purpose of my post is to put forth a question of my own: "How can anyone not be a sedevacantist after all this ecumenical apostasy?" Robert Siscoe and John Salza (Salza being a lawyer like myself) are putting out a book entitled True or False Pope, Refuting Sedevacantism and Other Modern Errors. The foreword is written by Bp. Bernard Fellay, General Superior of the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX). The book rehashes all the same worn out, discredited arguments of the "recognize and resist" camp of pseudo-Traditionalists who hold that, despite all the evidence to the contrary, Frankie is "pope," and we have the right to choose not to obey him when we dislike what he says ( a totally false, non-Catholic, invented principle).

 Those of us who remember any part of the Cold War (circa 1945-1989), will recall that there were those who were outright Communists, "fellow travelers" (i.e., those who are not "card-carrying" Communists yet share most/all of their ideas and goals), and "useful idiots" (i.e., those  people who act as propagandists for  Communism-- of whose goals they are not fully aware--- and who are used cynically by the leaders of the cause). Perhaps it's time we categorize those who "recognize and resist" Begoglio in the same way.

 Mr. Salza, co-author of True or False Pope claims to be a former 32nd degree Freemason who left to join the Vatican II sect. He has written several books including Why Catholics Cannot Be Masons. In his book on Masonry, Mr. Salza correctly expounds the teachings and aims of the Lodge. I will show some pertinent points regarding both Masonry and Begoglio.

 Masonry Promotes Indifferentism

 Freemasonry forbids prayers in the name of Jesus Christ but instead calls upon the Deistic "Great Architect of the Universe" (GAOTU). Freemason Manly Hall explains, "Christ, Buddha, or Mohammed, the name means little." (See The Lost Keys of Freemasonry; or, The Secret of Hiram Abiff, Richmond, Virginia, Macoy, 1976, pg.65). Watch Frankie's video again with the Buddhist, Mohammedan, Jew, and "priest." Now read what a real pope wrote:

 Now We consider another abundant source of the evils with which the Church is afflicted at present: indifferentism. This perverse opinion is spread on all sides by the fraud of the wicked who claim that it is possible to obtain the eternal salvation of the soul by the profession of any kind of religion, as long as morality is maintained. Surely, in so clear a matter, you will drive this deadly error far from the people committed to your care. With the admonition of the apostle that "there is one God, one faith, one baptism"may those fear who contrive the notion that the safe harbor of salvation is open to persons of any religion whatever. They should consider the testimony of Christ Himself that "those who are not with Christ are against Him,"and that they disperse unhappily who do not gather with Him. Therefore "without a doubt, they will perish forever, unless they hold the Catholic faith whole and inviolate." Let them hear Jerome who, while the Church was torn into three parts by schism, tells us that whenever someone tried to persuade him to join his group he always exclaimed: "He who is for the See of Peter is for me." A schismatic flatters himself falsely if he asserts that he, too, has been washed in the waters of regeneration. Indeed Augustine would reply to such a man: "The branch has the same form when it has been cut off from the vine; but of what profit for it is the form, if it does not live from the root?" Masonry Demands Strict Obedience Of Its High Ranking Members Under Penalty of Death

 "Moreover, to be enrolled, it is necessary that the candidates promise and undertake to be thenceforward strictly obedient to their leaders and masters with the utmost submission and fidelity, and to be in readiness to do their bidding upon the slightest expression of their will; or, if disobedient, to submit to the direst penalties and death itself. As a fact, if any are judged to have betrayed the doings of the sect or to have resisted commands given, punishment is inflicted on them not infrequently, and with so much audacity and dexterity that the assassin very often escapes the detection and penalty of his crime." (Pope Leo XIII, Humanum Genus # 9)

Masonry LOVES Mr. Bergoglio

1. Masonry, which shares the same ideology as Modernism, wants a one-world ecumenical religion devoid of dogma.

2. Jorge Begoglio has produced a video that captures that central goal of Masonry and promotes it.

3. The Masons openly praise Bergoglio.

4. The True Church has officially condemned Freemasonry (specifically) no less than seventeen (17) times

5. High ranking Masons will be the target of wrath should they disobey (or leave) Masonry, including being killed by the Lodge.

6.  We can say that there are actual Masons, "fellow travelers" who believe in Indifferentism (e.g., Modernists), and useful idiots who are led into staying with Bergoglio through propaganda books like True or False Pope

7. John Salza knows the teachings of the True Church rather well. He may be useful, but he's no idiot.

8. Salza claims he was a 32nd degree Mason (one of the very highest, ruling-class levels) and claims to have left. Yet, he prospers as a lawyer and nothing has been done to him. He has even written a book entitled Masonry Unmasked; An Insider Reveals The Secrets of the Lodge,He seems unafraid of any consequences (unlike some former Masons who wrote books under pseudonyms to protect themselves).

9. Salza's book aids Frankie (whom the Masons love) and keeps souls in union with the "Vicar of Satan." 

10. Is it possible Salza is still a Mason, with his mission to try to keep people fearing sedevacantism, and thereby help the cause of the Masonic Lodge and their master; Satan? 

As people who read my blog will know very well, I'm no "conspiracy nut." I don't know if Mr. Salza is an actual Mason or not. One thing I do know, is that whether he's wearing an actual Masonic apron or not, his book does the work of those condemned by Pope Pius VIII (echoing the words of Pope St. Leo the Great) because their "Law is prevarication; religion, the devil; sacrifice, disgrace."

Eternal Life Is Worth Attaining

 Recently, I came across an old video cassette from the 1980s put out by a group in New Jersey known as "Catholics United For The Faith." It was an old black and white recording of the (then) Monsignor, later Bishop, Fulton J. Sheen offering Midnight Mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral in NYC. Fr. DePauw had just come out with the first and best-to-date video of himself offering the True Mass at the Ave Maria Chapel in Westbury, NY (June 1986). I'm happy to say that both my father and mother (God rest their souls) and yours truly, appear when the congregation goes up to receive Holy Communion. The video was for people who couldn't get to a True Mass, as well as those who were afraid to travel and attend the Chapel because they would be "excommunicated." Fr. DePauw had a 15 minute introduction explaining what the True Mass was and why it could not and should not be changed to a Protestant service. The Vatican II sect was outraged that the video became so popular, but were unable to find something to take people away from that "schismatic priest" and put desperately needed money in their greedy pockets.

  Hence, the so-called "Catholics (sic) United For The (pseudo-)Faith" resurrected the old Bp. Sheen video to compete. Remember, there was no FSSP at the time, and most priests who were ordained before Vatican II either were "rusty" with the Latin and rubrics, which wouldn't make a good video, or they were thoroughly Modernist and hated even the thought of offering the real Mass again. But no worries! They had a video of  "America's Bishop" a man known for his sanctity, learning, and orthodoxy, unlike the "schismatic" and even "heretical" Fr. DePauw!   The "conservative" Vatican II sect members mostly fell for it. Little did they know that Bp. Sheen himself, like the video they were using, was a Modernist ploy; trying to get people away from the Church. Fulton John Sheen (1895-1979) was a real wolf in Shepherd's clothing. Despite having a reputation as an incredible orator and preacher from his popular TV show Life Is Worth Living (1951-1957), the facts tell a different tale. Ordained a priest in 1919, and consecrated a bishop in 1951, Sheen was Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of NYC from 1951-1966 before becoming Bishop of the Diocese of Rochester, NY for the years 1966-1969. What seems like a stellar ecclesiastical vocation, was anything but that.

 My information on Sheen comes primarily from three (3) sources: Treasure in Clay (San Francisco: Ignatius Press, 1993)--the bishop's posthumous autobiography; America's Bishop: The Life and Times of Bishop Sheen by Thomas C. Reeve (Encounter Books, 2001), and The Fulton J. Sheen Sunday Missal (Hawthorne Books, Inc, 1961).

The Facts On Bp. Fulton J. Sheen

• He considered his participation in the Council one of the "great blessings" of his life. He helped Modernist Fr. John Courtney Murray in the passage of the heretical document Dignitatis Humanae (On Religious Liberty). The bishops from America were almost completely Modernists, or Modernist sympathizers. The only two major exceptions were Francis Cardinal Spellman of NYC (with whom Sheen would often fight) and Bishop Richard Henry Ackerman of Covington, Kentucky (a personal friend of Archbishop Lefebvre). The bishops from America had long smelled the polluted air of "separation of Church and State" embedded in the Masonic U.S. Constitution. Sheen was no exception.

• He spoke at a synagogue as Bishop of Rochester and later told Jews, "We have the same God, and we are His people." 

• He encouraged attendance at a "revival crusade" by Protestant minister Rev. Billy Graham. How many would lose (or have doubts about) Catholicism after hearing the popular "evangelist"?

• His personal library contained over 3,000 books by Protestant theologians on Sacred Scripture. He urged his priests and seminarians to use such books. When one priest complained that books by heretics have no place in the Church or Her seminaries, Sheen replied, "...you've got to remember that the Holy Spirit works through them too." Sheen had fully bought into heretical ecclesiology of Vatican II: "...the Spirit of Christ has not refrained from using them (false sects) as a means of salvation..." (Unitatis Redintegratio, # 3)

• He condemns Traditionalists as "schismatic" and "heretical." He counseled a woman in 1978 not to attend a Traditionalist chapel as it would lead her "...into schism and even heresy." He had this to say about the Mass: "The changes made by Pope Paul VI were not doctrinal changes, they merely changed from Latin to the vernacular. There have been many changes in the Mass down through the centuries. The Lord never said Mass in Latin; He used the language of the time. Moreover, the change in translation does not alter the meaning of the text. I am always looking for translations that make the Scriptures more understandable and clear." Could a man with an earned doctorate actually believe that? One need only look at the incredibly poor translation of the 1961 Missal bearing his name to see how he made things "more relevant" by purposeful mistranslations. 

•  In his missal, for the Words of Consecration over the Wine, Sheen translates them as: "For this is the Chalice of My Blood of the New and eternal testament: the mystery of faith: which shall be shed for you and for the multitude of mankind so that sins may be forgiven." (Emphasis mine) The preface states that the translation is the work of the editors, but I find it incredulous that Sheen couldn't make changes or edits in a work bearing his name; or didn't look it over, especially the Canon. "Pro multis" is "for many" as any first year Latin student could tell you. "For the multitude of mankind," while not strictly speaking heretical, lends itself to sound like the Novus Bogus "for ALL" which came in 1969. Sheen subscribed to universalism, and was a disciple of apostate Fr. Teilhard de Chardin.  

• Sheen believed in the "anonymous Christian" theory of heretic Fr. Karl Rahner, stating, "Christ is hidden in all world religions, though as yet His face is veiled as it was to Moses, who asked to see it" Christ is "hidden" in Islam? Really?

• Although he was Director for the Society for the Propagation of the Faith, he proudly and ironically professed, "...never once was there an attempt at what might be called proselytizing" on his TV show. I guess when you have no faith, there's really nothing to propagate. 

 Bishop Fulton J. Sheen was just another Modernist who had the veneer of orthodoxy and holiness to trap the unsuspecting. It's no surprise that John Paul the Great Apostate hugged Sheen in St. Patrick's Cathedral on October 2, 1979, calling the bishop a "loyal son of the Church (sic)." Equally no surprise is the fact that Sheen is a candidate for "sainthood." (Isn't everyone except Catholics these days?) Fulton Sheen told us "life is worth living." Unfortunately, he never understood that we are destined for eternal life with Christ, which can only be attained through His One True Church. That's what really makes this life worth anything at all.
