For
2,000 years, the Catholic Church has had to weather one storm after another
after another. Like riding the waves on a surfboard or the ups and downs of a
roller coaster, it has had to survive endless battles, many of which sought to
put the final nail in the coffin of it, only for it to rise again more
triumphantly than ever before. There are many Catholics around the world who
are dismayed, angry, frustrated, puzzled, and perhaps at their wits end
wondering where all of this is going. This piece is to serve as a strong
reminder that the Church Militant has Christ’s constant protection and always
will.
Every Holy Week, we celebrate the
holiest time of the year where we remember how Christ underwent His horrific
Passion and rose from the dead 3 days later. Here was the man His apostles were
sure would vanquish their Roman oppressors, only to see Him executed in the
most brutal of fashions. When the
apostles were locked in a room for fear of the Jews and Christ appeared to
them, they had to have been completely deflated, knowing they abandoned the one
who had been with them for 3 years. When He needed them most, they all fled Him
except for John. He was scourged, crowned with thorns, and had nails driven
through his hands and feet and if anyone at that moment had the right to
verbally rip them apart to their faces, Jesus was that individual. Instead, He
merely said “Peace be with you”, breathed on them, and gave them the power to
forgive men’s sins. Only from God can such goodness come.
For three centuries after the start
of Christendom, Christian after Christian was martyred by the most horrendous
methods known to man. In all likelihood, this new and emerging sect of Judaism
should have died out. Nero, Domitian, Decius, Valerian, Diocletian, Galerius,
and Julian executed so many Christians in the earliest centuries that if not a
Divine Institution, the Holy Catholic Church would have never made it out of
the 4th century.
When Satan and his demons saw that
the attacks on the body were not working, they turned their attention to
attacking the minds of the Christians by polluting the church as much as they
possibly could with numerous heresies. Arianism, Nestorianism, Monophysitism,
Monothelitism, and many other heresies caused much confusion and strife that
would attack the church at its very heart and cause massive confusion all
throughout the church. [1] The Arian crisis alone
caused roughly 80% of the church’s bishops to adopt Arius’ belief that the Son
was less than the Father. As the great Catholic historian Hilaire Belloc noted,
“At this point, there entered the battle that personal force which ultimately
won the victory for Catholicism: St. Athanasius.” [2] Exiled 5 times, St.
Athanasius stood firm and refused admitting Arius to Holy Communion. Eventually
the war would be won and Arianism and the other Christological heresies would
be buried.
One
of the greatest confusions to Christendom occurred between 1378-1429, known as
the Great Western Schism. Rival claimants to the papacy in both Rome and
Avignon fought for control of the papacy. There were saints like Catherine of
Siena who favored Urban VI and saints like Vincent Ferrer who favored Clement
VII. Both would have numerous successors in both lineages and then a third
lineage would shoot off with Alexander V coming from the Pisan line. It took 51
years for the madness to end until Martin V was elected at the Council of
Constance and order was finally restored in the Roman Church.
Just one century later, there arose one
of the greatest heresiarchs the church ever had to contend with who caused
irreparable damage that forever splinted Christendom. When Martin Luther issued
his 95 theses in 1517, he drove them (and all the division that followed) into
the heart of Christendom, causing the Sacred Heart of Our Lord unfathomable
pain. Many European nations were swept away by Luther’s errors and in a short
time the Church went from dealing with Lutheranism to all the other splintered
groups that followed: the Anglicans, Presbyterians, Methodists,
Congregationalists, Episcopalians, Baptists, and many others. The tragic
aftermath that has followed the last 500 years since the Protestant Revolt has
been one of enduring pain for the unity of Christ’s Church.
The Protestant revolt by turning its
back on Christ’s Catholic Church paved the way for the Enlightenment Era and
its philosophers to further seek to destroy Christ’s Church. Rousseau,
Voltaire, Napoleon, and many others gained steam in attacking the Catholic
Church because Luther had already set the stage for them a few centuries
earlier by fragmenting Christianity. If things like the pope, authority, and
moral absolutes didn’t matter anymore, than any “enlightened ideas” were now
fair game under the umbrella of religious liberty. As Napoleon Bonaparte once
remarked to a cardinal, “Your eminence, are you not aware that I have the power
to destroy the Catholic Church? The cardinal responded, “Your majesty, we, the
Catholic clergy, have done our best to destroy the church for the last 1,800
years. We have not succeeded, and neither will you.” The bloodshed that began
in France during the French Revolution would only spawn more bloodshed as the
ideals that were birthed during the French Revolution engulfed all of Western
Civilization as a whole. The physical casualties were numerous; the
intellectual casualties are innumerable, as the West has been seeped into a
melting pot of “any idea and belief now goes”.
Protestantism removed the Catholic
Church as any form of authority and only allowed for a belief in God and Christ
as Savior. The Enlightenment removed Christ as unique savior with religious
liberty as one of its foremost principles. Logically the last piece to the
puzzle would be atheism, particularly under the form of communism. If there is
no Catholic Church with moral absolutes and no unique savior such as Jesus
Christ to redeem a fallen world, then the last logical step is that there is no
God. This is exactly what Pope St. Pius X said in ‘Pascendi Dominici Gregis’ when he remarked, “…Modernism leads to the annihilation of all
religion. The first step in this direction was taken by Protestantism; the
second is made by Modernism; the next will plunge headlong into atheism.” [3]
The
Catholic Church and the world has just closed a few short years ago what was
the bloodiest century in all of human history. Hundreds of millions of people
were murdered by their own countries totalitarian regimes, put in place by men,
instigated behind the scenes as always by the one who said from the foundation
of the world, “Non Serviam”. On top of all of this, countless millions of
babies have been aborted in their mother’s wombs, marriage has been redefined
as no longer between a man and a woman but whatever mankind now deems
appropriate and according to the latest fashion. In the last few years since,
marriage has been “redefined”, not only have we seen men “marrying” men and
women “marrying” women, but the floodgates of hell have completely opened up on
this last battle between Satan and the Woman of Revelation. Not only have we
seen “marriage” between the same sex (and sometimes more than two people) but
there are cases around the world of people “marrying” their pets, their
livestock, and even inanimate objects such as roller coasters, bridges, train
stations, trees, Barbie dolls, and many other bizarre things.
In all previous times of the Catholic Church’s history, the lay faithful always looked for sanity within the Church’s structure and Her teachings when dealing with an insane world. But since the close of the Second Vatican Council, right up to our present day with Leo XIV, more and more Catholics are growing more disillusioned by the day in trying to keep themselves sane when most churchmen (V2 sect) themselves have abandoned ship and jumped on board with the modern world. Leo XIV, who should be the Traditionalist Catholics greatest defender, is in some ways the Traditionalist Catholics greatest foe. Rather than defending and maintaining the doctrine and disciplines of Holy Mother Church, he, like Bergoglio before him, not only is destroying the moral edifice of the church but continues the attacks from all sides against families who are doing their best to uphold the church’s teachings in a neo-pagan world.
While Francis constantly barraged Traditionalists as “funeral
faces, promethean neo-pelagians, sourpusses, pastry-shop Christians,
creed-reciting parrot Christians, pickled pepper-faced Christians, Rosary
counters”, etc., Leo, though more subtle in his approach, nevertheless
continues the onslaught against traditionalism himself, just in a more low key
and less conspicuous way. The attacks of the last 60 years have left those
still in the clutches of the Novus Ordo wondering: If this man is not for us,
then who is anymore???
For the faithful Catholic who is trying to save his or her soul and get their families to heaven, one is left wondering today: Who does one turn to anymore for help? Where is God in all of this? Where is this all going? These questions are being thrust more and more to the forefront of peoples’ minds as their very faith is being attacked not only from without but from within by the post-conciliar “popes” and the “bishops” in the church. Those who are supposed to be coming to the aid of their flocks are instead throwing their own sheep to the wolves. These shepherds are wolves themselves. The problem here is that what appears to be reality is really an illusion. To the roughly 1.2 billion “Catholics” around the globe, they see a man dressed in white. They assume that he must be the pope. They see men dressed in red. They assume that they are cardinals. They see men dressed in purple. To them, they are bishops. Why would any of these men be anything else?
It is only the elect that have not been deceived. They are small in number, yet they remain the True Remnant of Catholics around the globe. The Freemasons in the “Alta Vendita” spoke about an insidious plot that would take many years to accomplish. They would slowly move through the ranks in the church. Like the Communists later, they would infiltrate the church more and more until they had control of the conciliar church and nothing was left but an empty shell of the Roman Church. They knew that this would not take place in a year, or several years, or even a century. But they were patient. Their machinations would eventually come to fruition if they just waited long enough. Fast forward to where we are now, and it is obvious (to the elect) that they have succeeded. The documents and addresses that come out of Rome are devoid of any Catholic substance. The men who appear to be the leaders of the church are anything but. They have changed the teachings of the church. They focus on the natural, not the supernatural.
The supernatural has been all
but eradicated from the highest levels in Rome. To those stuck in the clutches
of the Novus Ordo, all seems well. Sure, the “pope” may occasionally say or do
something strange, but at the end of the day, he is still the “pope.” After
all, how could he be anything less? To the traditionalist, he sees through this
façade for what this truly is – a complete takeover of what was once a fortress
of orthodoxy. To most of the world, they cannot see it. For many who do
eventually come to see it, they could still care less. The apathy and sway of
the world is far too strong a current.
There are many faithful Catholics wondering, will this too pass like many other evils passed in previous ages of our Catholic ancestors lives? It is important here to remember that we are the Church Militant and that this world is not our final destination. We will have our wounds, our battles, our scars, our casualties, etc., but in the end, if we endure, we will gain the Crown of Life. We must re-shift our minds and focus on the Eternal, not the Temporal. We were not made for this world, but the next and that is where our minds must be raised-to all things spiritual. As C.S. Lewis stated, “Creatures are not born with desires unless satisfaction for those desires exists. A baby feels hunger: well, there is such a thing as food. A duckling wants to swim: well, there is such a thing as water. Men feel sexual desire: well, there is such a thing as sex. If I find in myself a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that I was made for another world.” [4] The time is ripe right now for saints to be raised up to fight against the onslaught that is attacking the Catholic Church.
As St. Teresa of Avila noted, the Evil One was deprived of many victims due to saints like St. Dominic, St. Francis of Assisi, and St. Ignatius of Loyola, whose religious orders they founded saved numerous souls from Satan’s snare. As St. Teresa said, “…how willing Our Lord is to grant us the same graces! In fact, there is even more urgent need now for persons to prepare for such favors, since there are fewer who care for His honor. We love ourselves too much and are too prudent to give up any of our rights. What a deception! May God in His mercy give us light, lest we sink into such darkness.” [5]
If God can raise up a great saint like St. Vincent Ferrer who converted 8,000 Moors and 25,000 Jews and raised at least 28 people from the dead (probably many more than that) and worked thousands of miracles when the world needed a Saint Vincent Ferrer, then God can also raise up a great saint here in our times. He can raise up men who will once again save Christendom, just as St. Athanasius did with the Arians and others have in all the other ages of the church. [6] The church is down, but it will NEVER be out for the count. It is important to remember that God allows things to occur by His Permissive Will that we as human beings will never fully understand in this life. God is allowing the Catholic Church and the world to undergo this extreme Passion right now, just as He had to on Good Friday before He could rise on Easter Sunday. No Passion, No Resurrection. It’s just that simple. From a human perspective, the Jews inciting the Romans to crucify the Savior, at the request of the whispers of the demons, was all a part of the Son of God’s plan to save the human race from all eternity. Every scourge, every thorn in the forehead, every spit, every strike, every blow, every nail, every drop of blood was allowed by God for His Son to endure so that He might redeem mankind in the greatest act of love the world has ever seen in human history. Satan in his pride was sure the victory was his as he put the Son of God to death.
But all of this was part of God’s infinite plan of Wisdom. As Rufinus of Aquileia said, “The purpose of the Incarnation…was that the divine virtue of the Son of God might be as it were a hook hidden beneath the form of human flesh…to lure on the prince of this age to a contest; that the Son might offer him his flesh as a bait and that then the divinity which lay beneath might catch him and hold him fast with its hook…Then, as a fish when it seizes a baited hook not only fails to drag off the bait but is itself dragged out of the water to serve as food for others; so he that had the power of death seized the body of Jesus in death, unaware of the hook of divinity concealed therein. Having swallowed it, he was caught straightway; the bars of hell were burst, and he was, as it were, drawn up from the pit, to become food for others…” [7]
Conclusion
So while it may be difficult when we see a “pope” contradicting the bi-millenial teachings of the Church, insulting Christians, and spiraling farther and farther down into complete chaos and taking the Church with him, it is important for us to remember that just like every other age of the church’s history, the Catholic Church survived and came out on top. This time will be no different. We must remember the discourse that God gave Job in the last 5 chapters of his biblical book. Were we there when God created the Heavens and the Earth and all of the splendors of the universe? No. He knows what He is doing and we must place our complete trust in Him and get behind Him with the full armor of our spiritual weaponry that He has given to us to survive: The Traditional Latin Mass, the Rosary, the Brown Scapular, Eucharistic Adoration, the Stations of the Cross, novenas, the intercession of all the angels and saints, and everything else that we have at our disposal.
Yes things
are very dark in the world right now. But as the saying goes, “It is always
darkest before the dawn.” The dawn is coming, with Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart leading
the way. It’s going to get much worse before it gets better, but we are assured
of God’s victory in the end, when the Eternal Judge makes all things correct in
the end. Until that time comes, we must do our part and put our souls at rest
in God in a restless world. As The Holy Ghost tells us in Psalms, “Be still,
and know that I Am God.”

A great first post, TradWarrior ! Our friend Introïbo is blessed to have such good collaborators ! The Church is undoubtedly going through the greatest trial in its history. God has allowed these things to happen, and there is a reason for that. The enemies of the Church, Satan foremost among them, think they will defeat it, but Christ told us: "In the world you shall have distress: but have confidence, I have overcome the world." (John 16:33)

That is certainly a big picture perspective, which is necessary to 'refresh' from time to time. The description of Our Lord's forgiveness when giving them the power to forgive sins is a new and interesting way to put it.

Wonderful Trad Warrior! I especially liked part about the small remnant elect not deceived. Do you still try to help novus ordites see the Truth? If so, what do you send them. They seem not to understand much, especially if it takes too long to read or watch.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your posts to come. God bless!
@anon9:44am,
DeleteThank you very much for the compliments. I do not go out of my way anymore to help those in the Novus Ordo. I used to a lot more! Allow me to explain a bit. I have a good heart and definitely like to help people. Years ago, I went out of my way to help several people come to the Sedevacantist position, but none of them did. When I was in the Novus Ordo, I also helped many, many people to learn more about the Faith. As time went on, I saw more and more that people really do not care about the Truth. People want to believe what they choose to believe, so I respect their free will and leave them where they are. If someone really wants to learn the Truth, with a humble heart, and is honestly seeking my advice, then absolutely, I will give them all the help I can and I will invest a lot of time and energy into them! But these situations are rare. There has to be a strong desire on the part of the person to want to have the Truth, at all costs. Most people are not like this though. I helped a lot of people in the past, and to a few of them, I revealed that I made the jump to the Sede position. None of them to date have followed suit. One of these individuals is a Novus Ordo “priest”. He and I got along very well and I really tried to help him because he was much farther along than other Novus Ordo clergymen that I knew. He actually is very sympathetic to the Sedevacantist position. The problem is he thinks that the Novus Ordo, R & R, and Sede positions are all Catholic and he has not progressed any further, after a very long time. And I knew that he wouldn’t. I hope that one day he and other people that I invested a lot of time and energy into DO make that jump to our position. I do continue to work on my family members, that they one day become Traditional Catholics. This will take time. My heart aches for this situation to come to fruition. Hopefully it does one day, with God’s grace.
Please keep this intention in your prayers if you can.
God Bless you,
-TradWarrior
Thank you TW! I will likely adopt your position as I see same results after so many years which also included helping NO "priest."
DeleteYes, will keep all in prayer. I often beg Our Blessed Mother to destroy the NO wicked monster.
God bless us all!
Dear TradWarrior,
DeleteI agree wholeheartedly with all you said in response to Anonymous @ 9:44 AM. This has been my experience as well, for many, many years. What is very sad is that some people LOVE the Novus Bogus garbage and HATE the Faith - thinking that they are Catholic in doing so!! The mind boggles!
Keep up the good work, TW!
Hi Leo,
DeleteThank you for the post. It does boggle the mind, I agree!

Samson Chronicles (15A) N. of Flue (Spurious)
ReplyDeletehttps://www.azquotes.com/quote/767570
"Nicholas of Flue" is quoted here as saying:
"The Church will be punished because the majority of her members, high and low, will become so perverted. The Church will sink deeper and deeper until she will at last seem to be extinguished, and the succession of Peter and the other Apostles to have expired. But, after this, she will be victoriously exalted in the sight of all doubters."
This prophecy of St. Nicholas of Flue (1417-1487) is rather interesting, isn't it? Alas, it is spurious, and not composed by N. of Flue. However, it is a synoptic version of a genuine text written by Nicholas of Cusa (1400-1464), a Catholic Cardinal and scholarly polymath. Somehow, in various print editions of the 19th century, in various languages, the quotation ended up getting abbreviated and garbled, and misattributed to the wrong Nicholas. The Internet continues to spread this error. The correct source text for this quote is paragraphs 130-131 of
https://www.academia.edu/127147942/Coniectura_de_Ultimis_Diebus_A_Surmise_about_the_Last_Days_
which is a 2008 English translation of N. of Cusa's Latin text done by Jasper Hopkins (1936-2023). This translation can also be seen in pdf format in a static1.squarespace.com webpage. I will reproduce the relevant extracts in part 15B.
Samson Chronicles (15B) N. of Cusa (Genuine Text)
ReplyDeleteTo continue 15A, the Nicholas of Cusa passage is:
"[130] Thereafter, the Satanic spirit of the Antichrist will incite the persecution of the body-of-Christ, which is the Church. And there will be a final tribulation (than which there was never a greater one), which is an unfurling of the history of Christ's mortal suffering. And the Church will seem to be abolished, because the holy apostles, sowers of the word of God, will abandon it and flee. And there will be no successor of Peter or of any apostle. They all will fall away. [131] And when in this manner, in the eyes of the foolish, the body of Christ is shamefully believed to have been removed from the world as if through death on a cross, holy men will appear and take heart, because they will see that after the slaughter of the saints the Church will in a few days arise again in glorious splendor... And all nations will turn back to Christ, so that in the whole world the people of Christ will constitute one sheepfold of one Shepherd. And Peter will weep bitterly because he had fled. So too will the other apostles... And by means of a glorious resurrection from the oppression of the Antichrist's followers, the Church will render itself visible to all doubters..."
********
Nicholas was a Catholic Cardinal eligible to participate in two papal conclaves/elections. It is very interesting to see what he wrote over five centuries ago, about the future of the papacy. I plan to tack on a couple of follow up comments (= 15C and 15D) elaborating upon this 15B segment. God Bless,

777333,
DeleteThank you for sharing that. There are two different predominant thoughts in eschatology that deal with this very topic.
The first view is that the world will soon go into a tremendous chastisement. This will be followed by a glorious era where a Holy Pope and Great Monarch convert much of the world to the Catholic Church. After a time of unknown duration, the Antichrist takes the scene and wreaks havoc on the world for 3.5 years, and then he is eventually defeated. After a short duration of time (on an unknown day and hour), Christ returns and judges the world. The rising of the dead from their graves goes along with this at the end of the world. There have been many, many prophecies throughout the centuries that spoke about a Holy Pope and Great Monarch coming in the future and a great restoration period being given to the church and the world.
The second view is that we never again have a pope. Pope Pius XII is the last pope and from 1958-Unknown, the world never again has a vicar to guide the Catholic Church. The Antichrist eventually comes and he wreaks havoc on the world after 3.5 years and that is followed by the rising of the dead in their graves and Christ judging the world (much like the previous scenario).
Another view that we could add here is Steve Speray’s view, which is the minority opinion, but nevertheless, a very interesting one. This entire godless age that we are living in is Antichrist and it is not an actual evil man who comes at the end of the world. The godless spirit that permeates our very world is Antichrist and things progressively get worse and worse until Christ returns and judges the world. For a more detailed explanation of Steve’s view, there are articles on his blog that he has written that have described this scenario more in detail.
We do not know how this will all play out, but we do know that things are not good and they continue to get worse. We need to keep praying that God gives His faithful Remnant the strength we need to persevere. These are difficult times!
God Bless you,

Samson Chronicles (15C) Pietro in Vincoli
Deletehttps://www.catholic-hierarchy.org/bishop/bcusa.html Wikipedia articles relevant to this subject include: "Nicholas of Cusa" ; "San Pietro in Vincoli" ; "Titular church" ; and "Liberation of Peter" .
It is a custom for popes to incardinate men to become clergymen of the diocese of Rome, by assigning to them a titular church in Rome. Cardinal Nicholas of Cusa was assigned to the Basilica of St. Peter in Chains (= San Pietro in Vincoli) in Jan. 1449. That assignment could hardly have been more ironic or appropriate, in light of how N. of Cusa (in 15B above) seems to be describing a sedevacante time period (= what we see now?!) predicted to come to an end at a certain time. The biblical account of St. Peter being enchained and (so it would seem, miraculously!) unchained, is found in The Acts of the Apostles 12:3-19. These verses relate to the Samson story in more than one way. Verses 10 and 13-14 refer to the city gate, just like we read about the city gate in Judges 16:2-3. More information about binding and unbinding in regard to Samson / St. Peter, can be found in my previous S.C. 11A & 11B "Handcuffing" comments of Aug. 13 at 1:53PM and 6:29PM (= of the Aug. 11, 2025 "Nature and Institution..." blog post of this website). Another of Introibo's recent posts is devoted to Leo Joseph Suenens (= Contending... (Part 44) of Oct. 6, 2025). Suenens was a successor of N. of Cusa as the cardinal in charge of the San Pietro in Vincoli church, from 1962-1996. This "Reign of Suenens" was the time when the Apostle Peter was "chained up in bondage" (Acts 12:3-6) so to speak, by a series of Antipopes. The integrated symbolism of all this seems to me, to be quite illuminating. Like God's light in Acts 12:7. God bless.

Samson Chronicles (15D) Tradwarrior & Cusa
DeleteAmong the things written by Card. Nicholas of Cusa, as noted above in the 15B segment, we read about "an unfurling [= in the Church] of the history of Christ's mortal suffering". Nicholas subscribed to the point of view that the life of the Mystical Body of Christ (= Church), would follow the pattern of the life of Jesus Christ as He lived it on earth. As we now can see this, that happened 2000 years ago. And by now, it is easy to spot the point at which the Catholic Church was "kissed by Judas" (= at the Judas bar-Abbas Council of the 1960s). Next, Christ's Bride was scourged at the pillar, crowned with thorns, and is on the pathway of all the Stations of the Cross. When then is Golgotha for the Catholic Church? Answer: It is pinpointed in two places in the Samson story, in both Judges 16:23-30, and 15:9-19. Just as Jesus was crucified between two thieves, so also does Samson die between the two pillars. Samson's "jawbone" is all about Golgotha, as a jawbone is a part of a "Skull (= Golgotha)". For more about that, you can consult my "Samson Chronicles (Episode 7) Perfect (St.) Peter" comment of July 20 at 9:59PM (= of the July 14, 2025 "The First Jesuits" post of this blog).
As Tradwarrior noted in his final 2 paragraphs:
"...It is important for us to remember that just like [in] every other age of the church's history, the Catholic Church survived and came out on top. This time will be no different... Yes, things are very dark in the world right now. But as the saying goes, "It is always darkest before the dawn". The dawn is coming..."
Tradwarrior's words strike me as a very good summary of what Card. Nicholas of Cusa put down in writing, as you see it, in segment 15B above. And thank you, Introibo, for giving me a place to try my best to explain the bizarre and phenomenal story of Samson.
Anon-Golgotha777333
Off topic, can Catholics do athletic stretches and/or stretches that help with tight pelvic floor muscles without committing the grave sin of doing yoga? I looked up a few stretches, some which I remember doing in high school gym class (lunges, abductor stretches, knee to chest, etc), but then as I looked into it a bit more, these are considered yoga poses. Are Catholics who go to physical therapy, or who do athletic training that involve these stretches to loosen tight muscles in danger of falling into sin? Almost all these stretches seem to have something to do with yoga.
ReplyDelete@anon2:52am,
DeleteYour questions about stretching are very good. Certainly, we need to stay away from yoga. That is a given. Stretching in general is very good and healthy in many ways. Years ago, I needed to do some stretching to help my overall health. The effects definitely helped my body. Physical therapy in many cases is very much needed for many people who experience injuries and stretching is often incorporated into these exercises to help to rehabilitate them. But, there are poses that are very clearly yoga poses and the chanting that goes along with them are obviously yoga-based too. These need to be stayed away from. I would reference Introibo’s previous articles on this topic and hopefully he can respond a bit more in detail.
Thank you for the questions.
God Bless you,
-TradWarrior
@anon2:52
DeleteYou may go to PT to strengthen your muscles. Some may resemble yoga, but it is not. It has no religious underpinnings. You can ask the PT flat out "is this stretching yoga?" See his response. If he doesn't hesitate to say "no," you should have no problems.

Can we do these stretches on our own without being in danger of doing yoga? For instance, doing lunges, knee to chest stretches, adductor stretches, etc.? These are all considered yoga poses. Can the stretches and the demonic ritual be exclusive from another?
Delete"Every Holy Week, we celebrate the holiest time of the year where we remember how Christ underwent His horrific Passion and rose from the dead 3 days later."
ReplyDeleteThis "remembering" is the real problem in my opinion. This "remembering" is how Protestants view Christ's Passion but not how Catholics should understand it.
We should remember that with God, there is no time, that He is eternal. Thus we should not say that we remember Christ's Passion but we experience it in the here and now each and every time we assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
anon 3:48
DeleteWait a minute, what about the words of the Mass, just after the Lavabo:
Suscipe, sancta Trinitas, hanc oblationem, quam tibi offerimus ob MEMORIAM passionis, resurrectionis, et asciensionis Jesu Christi Domini nostri (...).
Receive, O holy Trinity, this oblation which we make to Thee in MEMORY of the Passion, Resurrection and Ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ (...).
Sorry but your argument holds no water.
@anon3:48am,
DeleteYour point about Christ’s Passion and The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass are all valid points. When I said “remember” I meant how we “reflect” on Christ’s Passion more specifically during that time of year, just as we reflect more on the Incarnation more during the Annunciation and the Christmas season, but all year round, we certainly need to prayerfully reflect on these Divine Mysteries. They just come more to the forefront during these seasons. That’s all. But thank you for your response. It is appreciated.
God Bless you,

Hi Joanna,
DeleteThank you for the post. What you wrote is how I was referring to this topic. I always enjoy reading your posts.

Trad Warrior,
ReplyDeleteThank you for the article and helping out Introibo. Continue doing so for I am done writing articles. A comment here or there are all will be coming from me. God Bless.
Lee
Hi Lee,
DeleteThank you for your post. Thank you especially for your previous articles that you wrote for Introibo. I always enjoyed them and I saved some of them that I refer back to at times. I wrote a detailed email to a Novus Ordo gentleman a while back that was quite detailed. There were a few points that you wrote in an article that I referenced because it added to the overall effect I was trying to have on this particular individual.
I will try and do my best to add to Introibo’s blog as best I can. Hopefully, I can come up with good topics to write on.
God bless you,

ReplyDeleteWhat are your thoughts on the Thesis?I know a number who attend RCI chapels that don't believe it but go for the Mass and Sacraments.I do think the priests from MHTS are well trained and preach well.I know several who have helped folk leave the Novus Ordo.
Look forward to more writing from you in the near future.God bless
P.T
Hi P.T,
DeleteI respect those who adhere to the Thesis as well as those who reject it. Personally, I find the Thesis very goofy. I see it as a violation of Pope Paul IV’s “Cum Ex Apostolatus Officio”, as well as the consensus of theologians throughout the years that said heretics cannot be popes (and vice versa). I don’t see how renouncing the V2 sect and becoming a traditionalist would automatically retroactively make someone the pope? We are well into the Great Apostasy now and Leo XIV isn’t even a valid priest or bishop, yet if he abjured his errors and rejected the Vatican II sect, he would become pope? How would this work? He is a layman. Roncalli was a priest and bishop, as were Montini, Luciani, and Wotyla. Ratzinger was a priest but not a bishop, Bergoglio was neither priest nor bishop, and Prevost is neither a priest nor bishop – under the new rite of ordination. It has gotten progressively worse. Even if one held to the Thesis, they would have to agree that it had a greater chance of being correct if someone like Roncalli or Montini had renounced their errors and became a Traditional Catholic. But now 60 plus years into The Great Apostasy, it makes it far less likely to be true. I never believed it made sense to begin with.
Yes, there are many people who attend the RCI who do not agree with the Thesis. People do not have a lot of Mass options, so naturally, they want to attend where they can receive valid sacraments and go where the True Faith is being held. I get it.
Assuming for a moment that the Thesis was correct, how would someone like Bishop Sanborn go about this if Leo XIV or a subsequent V2 pope renounced all of his errors and became a Traditional Catholic? Is he going to hand over the rights to his churches and seminary to the newly crowned pope? He should if he believes the man truly to be the pope. He should then immediately subject himself under the new pope’s rule. Somehow, I do not see this happening. He hasn’t even reached out to Bishop Pivarunas to have a civil conversation about their differences (as far as we know), yet he would immediately hand over the entire reins of the RCI to the new pope? This seems very far-fetched to me.
Thank you for your questions and comments.

Indeed TradWarrior let us thank God we have been given the graces to see the Vatican Two Sect is not the True Church. If Prevost is the Pope, then I am mickey mouse. It shocks me how people can't see what this evil pervert AntiChrist individual is doing and the millions of souls being misled. What is wrong with the SSPX. Where are their new bishops. I heard some young people at the local store saying how as bible based protestants they are shocked to see the "pope" having his photo taken in Rome with two homosexuals who presented themselves as married to the grinning Prevost. They said what message is that sending the world. I feel so sad for our young people. Blessings on you TradWarrior
ReplyDelete@anon3:23am,
DeleteYou bring up a good point. Protestants can see problems with Prevost having his picture taken with homosexuals, yet Novus Ordo’s cannot. And yet, this is the case in many places. We must continue to pray and remain strong in the Faith as best we can.
I like how you said if Prevost is the pope, then you are Mickey Mouse. Yes, if he is the pope, then I guess I would be Donald Duck. Donald doesn’t make a lot of sense when he talks, and yet he still is easier to understand than the V2 “popes”. To use your cartoon characters point even further, why could Goofy talk but Pluto couldn’t? They’re both dogs. Why does Winnie-the-Pooh wear a shirt, but no pants? It’s like Novus Ordo la-la land. It makes no sense! It’s pretty absurd, isn’t it!
God bless,

Hello TradWarrior
ReplyDeleteThe above question about the thesis. I believe if Bishop Guerard des Lauriers was alive today he would reject his writing. I can understand back when he wrote it but as you say things have become worse and we have layman claiming to be "Pope" It is indeed very goofty.
Why do you think the SSPX still does not have new Bishops. What are they thinking?
Your thoughts ,comments and now writings for Introibo are outstanding. A real blessing for us. Thank you very much
